Haywards Heath Golf Club
Our Course

Haywards Heath Golf Club's 18 hole course was opened in 1924, the product of an enthusiastic local community and the imagination of the legendary master golfer of the era, James Braid.

Club Golf at its best!

Over the years, many changes have occurred, and our current design advisor is Tom Mackenzie of Mackenzie & Ebert who previously worked with Donald Steel. The outcome of over eighty years of golfing history is a 6,216 yard layout that demands accuracy and judgement rather than power - although on many holes, long hitters will have an edge.

And along the way, as Walter Hagen declared, "smell the roses". Picturesque, beautifully tree-lined, and really well maintained: these are qualities that not all courses offer. Haywards Heath does. There are some testing elevation changes and views of the Weald and South Downs that are worth a moment's pause before teeing up.

Haywards Heath, a constantly improving golf course, offers a pleasing blend of sheer golfing challenge and pure enjoyment. Hole 1 Hole 3 Hole 4 Hole 5 Hole 6 Hole 7 Hole 8 Hole 9 Hole 10 Hole 11 Hole 12 Hole 13 Hole 14 Hole 15 Hole 16 Hole 17 Hole 18 Hole 2
